Telstra sends tech to do first stage intall of the NBN. No problem. 3 weeks later message advising second appointment in 24 hours. Tech arrives then 5 minutes later business phone line disconnected . He advises to call Telstra and they will switch phone on. He leaves no phone working. 5 hours later many calls to telstra emails etc finally diversion in place. Telstra advises tech was NBN and phone should not have been touched. Next appt 4 weeks for tesltra tech ! What the NBN tech doing and telstra knew he was coming so why was he interfering with our business phone? Not happy .
Not sure why the transition took place before the Telstra tech was due. If support was not able to arrange the installation date to be pushed forward you can look into lodging a complaint and they may be able to arrange an alternate option sooner than 4 weeks.
